Celsius vs Enviga, who wins?

This is it, folks. The calorie-burning beverage smack down to end all calorie-burning beverage smack downs. You may have heard of Enviga, Coke’s entry into the negative-calorie market that Celsius created. Celsius can’t match Coke’s advertising and placement muscle, but it sure does beat Enviga where it counts.

1. Celsius has Greater Flavor Variety
Celsius comes in 5 delicious fruit and cola flavors: Cola, Ginger Ale, Wild Berry, Orange, and Lemon Lime. Enviga comes in two flavors: Green Tea, Berry and Peach. Enviga is a carbonated green tea drink, which doesn’t leave a lot of room for exciting flavors that don’t taste like, well, carbonated green tea.

2. Celsius Burns more Calories
According the the scientific studies performed by both Celsius and Nestle/Coca-Cola (the makers of Enviga), it was determined that drinking one serving (12 ounces) of Celsius raises the body’s metabolism by 12%, burning 100 more calories over 3 hours than a diet soda placebo. The Enviga study found that one had to drink 3 servings (36 ounces) of Enviga to reach a similar effect.

Enviga is far less potent than Celsius when it comes to calorie burning. This is due to the fact that Enviga relies solely on caffeine and EGCG, a green tea leaf extract; while Celsius utilizes not only those ingredients but also it’s own proprietary blend of taurine, guarana, ginger root extract, and other nutrients, vitamins, and botanicals for even more calorie burning power.

3. Celsius Gives a Greater Energy Boost
Both Celsius and Enviga have caffeine in them. Your average cup of coffee has about 100mg of coffee, one can of Enviga has about 97mg, and your friendly neighborhood Celsius has 200mg of caffeine per can. That’s more than one cup of coffee and a can of Enviga put together! That’ll really give you the boost you need just how you like it. And you’d still have to drink two more cans of Enviga to burn the same amount of calories as a single Celsius

4. Celsius is more Cost Effective
Enviga is a little cheaper than Celsius per can, I’ll give you that much. But in order to match the same amount of energy-giving calorie-burning power in one can of Celsius, you’d have to drink 2 or 3 cans of Enviga. The savings don’t add up with these numbers.

5. Celsius Tastes Better
This is entirely subjective, and I may be biased, but here it goes: Celsius tastes at least 14 times better than Enviga. There, I said it. Every one of Celsius’ flavors have been hand crafted to delicious perfection for perfect mouth-feel and a delicious refreshing taste. Its soda-inspired flavors really kick the crap out of Enviga’s carbonated tea concept.

6. Celsius is Not Made By the Coca Cola Corporation
Rooting for the little guy is always more fun, right? Also, I’m sure that we all have skeletons in our closets, but at least Celsius doesn’t kill Colombians

I might lose points for that last one, but who plays clean anymore? There you have it, folks. If that doesn’t sell you on Celsius, I’m not sure what will. Click on the banners around us here and order a case of Celsius online!
